  • Hello!  Welcome to Mrs. Boston's homepage.

Mrs. Boston is a graduate of Fruitvale Junior High, Centennial High, and Cal State Bakersfield.  She has been teaching Language Arts for 20 years: begining at BCSD and has been at Jacobsen since 2006. Guess what? She still enjoys all aspects of her job!  Her favorite part of teaching ELA is facilitating a lifelong appreciation of reading and writing through a wide-range of modalities.

    Updates during school closure:

Hello readers and authors! There are currently no required assignments at this time, but please check back weekly for information. Maybe a book suggestion, application links to educational material, jokes (not my own because I am not all that funny), puzzles, and more!

    Stay Kind. Be well.

    Your ELA Teachers,

    Mrs. Boston

"And what are you reading, Miss-?"

"Oh! it's only a novel!" said the young lady... "in short, only some book where there is genius, knowledge of the human heart, the best picture of it, and wit, and funniness is given to us in the best words."
