On April 21st between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM our teachers will be serving behind the counters at McDonald's. Come get some yummy food, have fun and support CVS!
Fit for Fun
It is time to begin preparing for our fourth annual Fit for Fun. This is an obstacle course of mini-events staged around the track on the lower playground, such as jump ropes, sack races, cones, balance beams, tunnels, etc. Every child will participate with their class at an assigned time during the days of May 20-21.
Our goal is to raise awareness of fitness in our children as well as funds for our school. To that end, we are asking eachh child to submit at least one donation of $5. You ma pay this yourself, or you may collect sponsorships from frieds and family. It is important for your child's safety that you do not allow them to participate in "door to door" collecting! Each person who sponsors your child for $5 will be entered into our Grand Prize Drawing for Disneyland tickets.

Save Your Capri Sun Pouches!
The Student Council is sponsoring a program to collect used Capri Sun juice pouches. We are joining with TerraCycle, a national environmental organization, to not only keep them out of our landfills, but also raise money for our school. For each used Capri Sun pouch turned in, our school will receive a donation. Special receptacles will be available in the cafeteria to collect daily donations. Please talk to your student about keeping their Capri Sun trash separate, and even bring some from home if you have any. You may even want to buy some cool school gear made from the pouches!
